We're all "victims" here in America. Each one of us is a minority. There is nobody like me. I'm special. I'm different. I have disadvantages. I'm elderly. I have many medical needs, including prescription drugs. I'm young. I need an education. I need someone to make sure this happens. If I don't get an education, I will be unable to obtain gainful employment.
Because all of the above is true, it is somebody else's responsibility to watch out for me, to make sure there is food on my table, to make sure there is a roof over my head, to make sure I am warm in the winter and cool in the summer, to make sure I have the best of medical care (including doctors, hospitals, medical testing, and prescription drugs), and to make sure that my offspring will have something "left over" so they will have a better life than I have.
I have a question: if nobody works, who is going to take care of me?
It is my understanding that the government produces nothing. The government makes nothing. The only thing the government has is what it takes from those who work.
If nobody works, the government is incapable of assessing taxes. If the government is incapable of assessing taxes, who will take care of "life's losers"?
Who will take care of all the minorities? Who will take care of the elderly, the young, the unemployed, the illegal aliens? In fact, who will be left to take care of us?
I want my share of the spoils. But who provides the "spoils"?
